Your Shopify sales go to your Google Ads account from our server, into a conversion action we add for you. Your store page then shows what Google credited, beside your Shopify revenue.

Make Primary nowWhat YourTracking does in your Google Ads
It sends your sales from our server
Your Shopify sales reach Google Ads server to server, so a blocked browser script does not stop them. Personal details such as email addresses and phone numbers are hashed before they leave our server.
It adds the conversion actions for you
Your sales go into our purchase action, YourTracking - Purchase, and a few companion actions are added beside it. Every one is added as Secondary, which Google uses for reporting and not for bidding.
Your bidding stays yours
Nothing in your bidding changes until you choose. When you are ready, Make Primary now on the Google Ads page makes Google bid on YourTracking - Purchase and moves every other Primary purchase goal to Secondary, so no sale is counted twice. A check names what moves before anything changes.
Auto-tagging, switched on once
We switch on auto-tagging in your account once. If you switch it off later, we leave it off.
Each sale's value, with or without tax
Your store has one tax choice, asked when you add it, and Google Ads gets each sale with or without tax as chosen there. Shipping is always included. You can change it later in your store's settings.
What you see in YourTracking
Under Ad channels on your store's page, Google Ads has its own section.
Revenue and what Google credited by sale day
Credited by GoogleNot credited (yet)Still crediting
- Sales from Google ad clicks
- The revenue of your orders that came with a Google ad click.
- Google ad spend
- Read from your Google Ads account.
- Google Ads ROAS
- Google's own figure, as Google Ads shows it now. It shows once YourTracking's purchase action is the only Primary purchase action, so no other purchases mix in.
- eROAS
- The sales from a day's Google ad clicks, divided by that day's Google ad spend. An order that comes in later is added to the day of its click, so a day fills in as its orders arrive.
- Revenue and what Google credited
- Each day's revenue and the part Google credited, by sale day, so it lines up with your Shopify revenue.
- Products on Google Ads
- Google's own figures for each product, such as spend, clicks, conversion value and ROAS, beside your Shopify orders for it, over the periods you pick.
Set up in four steps
First you add your store and connect Shopify. Then the Google Ads page has four steps, all on one page.
- 1
Sign in
One sign-in with the Google account you open Google Ads with, in Google's own window. Tick every box on Google's screen.
- 2
Your account
Pick the Google Ads account that runs this store's ads. One Google Ads account runs one store.
- 3
Accept Google's customer data terms
Only you can do this, in your Google Ads account. Open Google Ads on our page takes you to them; tick the box, save, and press Done.
- 4
Your conversion goals
We add them in your Google Ads account. A new conversion action needs about 6 hours before Google accepts sales into it, and the page counts down to that moment. Sales from before then are sent once it opens.
Questions

Which Google account do I sign in with?
The Google account you open Google Ads with, not a personal one. It is one sign-in, in Google's own window, and Google needs every box on its screen ticked. If a box is left unticked, nothing is connected and the page asks you to sign in again.
I already use another tracker for Google Ads. What changes?
You can leave it running: our purchase action is added as Secondary next to it, so nothing counts twice there. When you are ready, Make Primary now on the Google Ads page moves every other Primary purchase goal to Secondary.
How soon does Google Ads accept my sales?
A new conversion action needs about 6 hours before Google accepts sales into it, and the Google Ads page counts down to that moment. Sales from before then are sent once it opens, so nothing is missed and there is nothing to do.
Why do my numbers differ from Google Ads?
The two count different things. Your store page counts a sale on the day of the sale, so it lines up with your Shopify revenue. Google Ads' standard columns count it on the day of the ad click and fill a day in over a day or two. To see Google's figures by the day of the sale, add the column All conv. value (by conv. time) in Google Ads.
Can two stores share one Google Ads account?
No. One Google Ads account runs one store, otherwise both stores' sales land in the same conversion action. Pick another account, or disconnect Google on the other store first.
How do I switch accounts, or disconnect Google?
Open Your account on the Google Ads page. Change account signs you in again and lets you pick another account. Disconnect stops sending your sales to Google for this store, and your conversion actions stay in your account, so a reconnect reuses them.
